I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a B.S. in Business with an emphasis on Organizational Management. I also hold a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in math from CU.
Why did you choose to become a teacher?
I originally wanted to be in law enforcement but after finishing college I decided I would rather impact kids before it was too late. I also come from a long line of teachers.

My children when they are nice to each other and laughing with each other.
What kind of music do you like?
All kinds but I love metal bands like Korn, Disturbed and Godsmack.
What are your hobbies outside of school?
I love to read and walk. I also love to travel.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Walking quickly while reading a book I rarely fall or trip.
What is your favorite board game?
I love to play cards! I also enjoy Apples to Apples.
What is your favorite treat?
Ice cream or anything chocolate.

What is the funniest thing a student has ever said to you?
Most of the funny things come from teaching Family Life and probably aren’t appropriate to share .
What do you love about Bill Roberts?
I love the students. I love the community. I love that I opened this building and I have had to opportunity to teach the siblings of former students. I also love that both of my kids are here and are a a part of this amazing place!
I chose to become a teacher to be happy!! J I previously worked in business for a baby company, and while I liked it, I didn’t love it. I realized that kids make me the happiest in life, and so I decided to go back to school to do what makes me happy! I loooooove what I’m doing now!
