Prizes? Exercise? Fitness and Fun all in one!
To win prizes from Boltage your kids only have to walk, bike, scooter, skate or any other kid-powered method, to school.
If your kiddos are too young to go the full distance from home to school and back, find an older buddy OR drive part way and have them walk or ride the rest of the way. The goal is to get our kids outside, exercising, and using cars less. The added bonus is helping free up the drop off lanes. Stapleton is the perfect neighborhood for this.
A Boltage ZapTag, get one by registering at https://williamroberts. active4.me and return to parent volunteer firstname.lastname@example.org. ZapTags will be distributed to your child’s classroom through teacher mailboxes. If you have received a Tag in the past it will still work, just send the form over via email for it to be activated.

- Start recording your trips at the ZapMachine and watch the prizes come in!
Zap EVERY day they walk, ride, or scoot to school.
Make sure your child walks under/near the ZapMachine (located by the bike racks near the playground) before or after school to register a trip. We cannot back date trips, if they miss zapping, they miss a trip counted.
Encourage kids to ride/walk/scoot with friends and neighbors. The more kids grouped together the safer it is, cars see them better! Look both ways ALWAYS. And please LOCK your bikes and scooters, every day!
Will be distributed weekly. Kids will be eligible for prizes on this schedule:
10 Trips = Boltage sports string backpack (until supplies run out – they are cool!)
25 Trips = Boltage reflective zipper pulls
40 Trips = Boltage slapband
Kid powered transportation wins prizes, how perfect is that?
In addition to the normal prizes we will be doing a pizza party for the class with the most kids registered and zapping one trip by the end of September. So sign up, get walking/biking/running/ skating/ and have fun
Boltage is a national incentive program to encourage children to walk, bike ride or scooter to school. With a student population of nearly 800 at Bill Roberts, Boltage alleviates traffic jams, encourages exercise, helps us “go green” and increases neighborhood awareness.
