We are saddened that the district has made the decision to change ECE- 2nd grade back to a remote platform beginning after Thanksgiving break. I was in classrooms today and the learning that was occurring was amazing.
We must follow the imposed guidelines, so beginning on Monday, Nov. 30th, ECE -12th grade students and programs will all transition to the remote platform and remain that way through the winter break, which is the end of the first semester.
Please take note, that means that your children will continue with their current assigned teacher. If you are presently in a remote learning environment, you will stay with that teacher until the end of December. If you have been in person, your current assigned teacher will continue to work with your children but will be transitioning to the remote platform. There is no shifting of teachers or teacher assignments. ECE families will receive supports for at-home instruction, but the district will not be offering full remote learning for ECE.
Flexibility and patience is the only prerequisite for all grade level classes at this time.
