There are many ways to volunteer at Bill Roberts. Families are welcome and encouraged to help out in any way that works best for them.
If you are interested in volunteering in your child’s classroom, please contact their teacher directly. If you would like to get involved in one of the many committees as part of the PTA, please email the PTA at email@example.com for more information.

Our Parent Teacher Association is active by giving thousands (yes, thousands!) of volunteer hours at school and organizing programs like family dances, the Fun Run, Wellness initiatives, Book Fairs, Spring Carnival, the school garden curriculum, the 100 Mile Run Club, Book it Bobcats Summer Readers, parent parties and many other efforts to build community and support our school staff.
Like other top-rated DPS schools, the PTA raises and donates more than $160,000 each year to the school to help make up for any deficits in public funding, such as more for Art, Music, PE, Drama, Technology and staff salaries to help keep teacher-student ratios low.
Denver Public Schools funds basic education, but there is nothing basic about Bill Roberts. In order to provide all of the amazing extras that our children receive every day, the Bill Roberts PTA encourages every family to make a direct financial contribution to the school.
The PTA sponsors get-to-know-you parties at the beginning of each school year called “Greet & Give” parties. All are welcome to come to meet other parents and staff as well as to hear about opportunities to support our children’s education with a donation. There will be no in-person Greet & Give parties for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
No contribution is too small and certainly none is too large! Families can make a donation online here as a single lump sum or set up an automatic monthly payment. Checks can also be made out to the Bill Roberts PTA.
Every year, local businesses provide about $30,000 in sponsorships to Bill Roberts. The support of these businesses is essential to providing the kind of education we want for our neighborhood children and we thank them for their generosity!
